WTA Cleveland Day 2 Predictions
Emma Navarro vs Aliaksandra Sasnovic
Face to face: first meeting
Navarro has had better seasons for these two players. The 22-year-old has just won her first tournament at the WTA 125 level. However, this is clay. The more experienced Sasnovich is ranked lower than Navarro after an unperfect season. But she has shown more comfort on the hard court throughout her career. All four Grand Finals at the WTA 250 level or higher are on hard courts. and she was the runner-up in Cleveland last year. On the other hand, Navarro usually plays his best on clay. not a guarantee But Sasnovich’s strict court credentials and previous success in Cleveland gave her the upper hand.
Prediction: Sasnovic in 3

Magdalena Fresh vs Jasmine Paolini
Head to Head Fresh 1-0 Paulini
It’s been a really positive couple of weeks. for Italian Paolini reached the finals of her home tournament on Palermo’s clay courts. She continued her momentum from her hard court runs. With third-round and quarterfinal appearances in the Montreal and Cincinnati Masters, Frech doesn’t have the same format. The Poles had a good win during the grass court season. But since then it has not managed to do much with the results of the competition. Paolini was very strong in almost every match she played. And that style is perfect for avoiding losing early in the game right now. She tends to have the advantage in Cleveland.
Prediction: Paolini in 3
Anhelina Kalnina vs Ana Bogdan
Face to face: first meeting
Kalnina lost hard on Ons Jabeur last week in Cincinnati, losing 5-2 in the final set with two serve breaks. But she has shown how dangerous she can be to top players when she is at her best. The Ukrainian rider was not in good form before the game. And it’s interesting to note how negatively she was affected by that loss. or if she gets a lot of positives from her performance Bogdan lost in qualifying in Cincinnati. But played good tennis several times this season. Including winning the WTA 125 title and the third round at Wimbledon. Bogdan’s victory was not impossible. But Culnina should have the advantage in Cleveland with her better all-around game.
Prediction: Kalinina in 2

Caroline Garcia vs Linda Fruhvertova
Face to face: first meeting
Garcia is desperately seeking form. Which is why she has decided late to join the Cleveland draw. The No. 1 French rider is going through a difficult year. The past few months have been particularly difficult. She always plays well for spells in tournaments. But then there were periods of invariably unforced errors. That is why she has had so many tight matches this season. This is a great opportunity for Garcia to gain morale from victory. Fruhvirtova, 18, is very talented and will have a long and successful career in the sport, however, she hasn’t been in great form lately. And Garcia’s powerful defensive game could beat her if it worked to some degree.
