So far, JP Buys has had issues in the UFC, but one thing you can’t deny from him is that he’s a great fighter.

Buys is currently training with Aljamain Sterling and Merab Dvalishvili and they are the perfect training duo to give him what he needs to survive in the UFC.

If Byes can defend that chin long enough for a takedown, I think this fight belongs to him. His fighting was very fluid. He will have a huge advantage on the mat.

His opponent Marcus McGhee made his UFC debut, but he’s 33 and his only career loss was a bare-back choke in round 1 less than a year ago.

This is a numbers game. Fighting and surrendering were the Buys’ best route to victory, and these numbers were insane for a guy who easily took down Montel Jackson and smashed his defenses to get a ride – and then had him go deep with a rear shock. empty early

Dan Tom: Josh Fremd in Round 2 (+470)

For sending a team to assemble the scene this week. I decided on the UFC Vegas 78 main opener between Josh Fremd and Jamie Pickett.

Despite winning only two of his seven fights with the promotion, Pickett still (somehow) found himself on the UFC roster.

I didn’t say mean. But aside from Pickett’s previously mentioned record, I’m not sure I’ve seen any less of a favorite fighter in the UFC Octagon than Pickett did.

Fremd, on the other hand, is a skinny action fighter who clearly enjoys the excitement of competition.

Although his aggression caused him to lose at times. But Fremd is still a young fighter who has shown an improvement in fight-to-fight since moving the shop to Factory X Muay Thai.

More importantly, Fremd’s popular fighting style was in line with the way Pickett tended to finish.

From fence knees to opportunistic front forks, Fremd should have plenty of avenues to wrap up the show this Saturday.

Add to that the fact that Fremd made it 5 times out of 8 in the second round. And I’m willing to sprinkle over the 29-year-old to do it again at 4-1 north odds.

Tony Sartori: Polyana Viana by submission (+425)

Fighter strike: Approx. 7:55 p.m. ET

In the main card bout at UFC Vegas 78, Polyana Viana and Iasmin Lucindo meet in the strawweight division.

Lucindo straddled two divisions. This brought the weight of this fraction back to 115 pounds, which might be a questionable decision. With a 1-1 record in the UFC, her only victory was in the flyweight division with a unanimous victory over Brogan Walker.

While her 115 pound weight loss was that of the dangerous Yazmin Jauregui, Lucindo was unable to do anything in that fight. In defeating the aforementioned counter-walker, She relies heavily on attacking to gain points and win.

However, that would be a dangerous avenue to fight Viana, a combat expert who could send you from anywhere. In fact, 8 of Viana’s 13 professional victories have come from submissions.

When entering this fight with good form Viana’s only loss from the past four bouts has been to Tabatha Ricci, who is a potential future title contender in the strawweight division.

These two fighters are quite capable of standing while Lucindo is a stronger wrestler and should probably go back to that with his recent win over Walker. The problem is if Lucindo Stick to that game plan. She was luring herself into where Viana was most comfortable. This made the surrender of victory the most likely path to victory for Viana.
