Declan Rice said he tried to take an approach that It was “a stark contrast” to the way new players tend to treat new clubs during his first few weeks at Arsenal.

“I try to do the opposite and go talk to anyone for the first few days. I just try to show everyone what I am as a character. I need to talk to new people. Talk to the kitchen staff, talk to the staff, talk to the other players… Just to show who I am and to show that I’m not ashamed.”
Rice is also excited about the possibility of playing under Mikel Arteta and says the Spaniard has created the perfect winning environment in north London.
