Rangers vs Giants Prediction, Picks, Odds – Aug 13
What do you get when you combine a 2-in-1 starter? pitch-to-contact Two that don’t allow much running against a ballpark that suffocates the offensive game. Our bets are looking closely at Under for tonight’s clash between Dane Dunning and Logan Webb.
The Texas Rangers go into this weekend’s series in San Francisco in a heated manner and clinch a win with a 9-3 win Saturday. They’ll pick up their 11th win in 12 games behind right-hander Dane Dunning. Can you?
Let’s break down Rangers vs Giants in our MLB picks & predictions for Sunday, Aug. 13.

Rangers vs Giants Prediction
On Sunday we had a battle between the two Grandmasters in the contact roll between Dane Dunning and Logan Webb. But there’s a lot to like with both arms.
Dunning is pitching in front of one of baseball’s top 5 defenses, according to above average. And he traded some ground balls for floating ones as he pumped up more attack zones than usual this season. His walk rate dropped to 6.9% and his strikeout rate was a career-low 17.3%. His subsequent defense was the reason he had such great results.
The Giants have been one of the worst offensive teams in baseball for the past two weeks with a 65 wRC+ rating. The only real success they had came from a 9.2% walk rate and timely base hit. With a spoiled 0.099 ISO in the range, I wasn’t too worried that Dunning would light up here.
That’s enough for me to support the unders here. Before we even consider the San Francisco ace. Texas has been red-hot lately, but relying on power won’t work well against the guy on Webb, who allows the ball on the ground about two-thirds of the time when the ball comes back into play.
And he has allowed more than three runs in just three of his last 20 starts dating to April 22, one of which was at Coors. A pitch where pitchers die, Webb is especially effective in pitcher-friendly Oracle Park. by limiting opponents to .226 while posting a 2.23 ERA (4.52 on the road).
my best solution: Under 8 years old (-106 at Fan Duel)
Rangers vs Giants parlay same game

Under 8 (-106)
Corey Seager gets hit (-390)
Michael Conforto takes hits (-180).
We’ve mentioned the fact that I think both pitchers should have different levels of success here. The contact profiles that both men have should maintain a premium. And I expect very few special base attacks.
Because of this, it’s quite difficult to create parlays in the same game with throwing legs. Because no one can really stop a strike. That would lead me to believe that the best approach comes up with nasty props.
while Dunning and Webb limit their damage. They tend to allow a certain number of basic attacks due to the number of attackers that hit them.
For that reason and more, I like Rangers shortstop Corey Seager to be popular. He’s hit .423 against ground-balling pitchers this season. Which is amazing. And compared to a prolific pitcher like Webb, he’s hitting .385 according to baseball references.
I like Michael Conforto here as a guy with a solid pairing with a right-handed pitcher as a left-hander and flyball focus. If anyone is going to Homer here, Conforto has a high chance of being hit.

Rangers vs Giants Moneyline and Over/Under Analysis
I think you need to take a good look at the Rangers moneyline. Texas has been doing a great job over the past two weeks with the slash line. .265/.370/.480 And the only real issue is the strike, with a rate of 24.8% over those two weeks.
This is clearly the better of the two offenses. And even more clearly after Seager’s return earlier this month. They are more talented than the home team, and while Webb has a stronger track record between starters – and better peripherals – I’m just not sure that will matter much here.
With that said, Rangers command 71% of the bets here. But the Giants account for 75% of bets on the moneyline. That sort of reverse parting successfully scared me of Rangers. And that’s why Under probably plays smarter at this point.

starter pitcher
Dane Dunning (9-4, 3.21 BC): The recession hit Dunning hard in July. Watch as he posted a 5.06 ERA in five starts. He calmed down a bit in August with a 2.63 ERA in two outings, and now he’s back in three straight games where he can keep opponents down to 3 runs earned or fewer.
Logan Webb (9-9, 3.38 ERA): Webb has been looking more like himself over the past month and a half. He has only allowed 6 runs in his last 3 starts (20 innings), and he has managed 15 strikeouts in that span compared to just one home run.
