Man Utd should expect Onana problems as three transfer decisions are tested
A great opportunity to make a strong start.
Leaving as manager is getting faster and faster this season, but Julen Lopetegui has already won the title. Lopetegui has had similar issues before after being fired from his job in Spain the day before the 2018 World Cup kicked off. And Wolves are in a similar situation.
Gary O’Neil has been drafted. So at least they’ll have someone in charge for visiting Old Trafford, but a few days of preparation is hardly ideal. O’Neil did a good job helping Bournemouth last season. But he was released this summer as the Cherries didn’t think he could take them further than the relegation survivors. And he had to fight again this time.
Lopetegui arrived in November with Wolves bottom of the table and guided them to safety. So the loss of a successful tactician is a big deal. Manchester United will be in chaos on Monday. And there couldn’t have been a better opportunity to make a strong statement to kick off the season.

Onana teething problems
Your dinosaur expert from world saw Andre. Onana was intercepted from 45 yards out against Lens last week. and now showing an ignorant attitude that he is not good
That’s definitely rubbish. David de Gea has passed his peak and although he is still at the peak of his powers But he was never good enough with the ball at his feet to be the goalkeeper in a team that wanted to compete with the elite. In Onana, United can revolutionize how they press, defend and attack.
But growing up comes with growing pains. Unlikely to fix overnight. As the goal against Lens shows, if your goalkeeper positions himself outside the line Passing the ball in the wrong place or losing possession in a mess can expose you. United have a very narrow error rate now. And it’s up to the outfielders to make the new approach work just as well as Onana. There is a problem with teething. But they are worth it.
new midfield
Mason Mount hasn’t had the most explosive start to life with United after a slightly disappointing pre-season. But he also showed why Erik Ten Hag was so keen to sign him. Mount is praised by all managers for his tactical brilliance. And he has already added a new dynamic to United’s midfield.
He should start alongside Casemiro on Monday. And it will be interesting to see how the two develop into a partnership after spending so little time together so far. Casemiro and Christian Eriksen’s relationship was the driving force behind United’s improvement last season, but the Dane began to fade noticeably after an hour in the match after returning from injury.
Younger, more powerful players need to upgrade the excellent Eriksen and improve their midfield options, but Mount has a big job on hand to fill his boots.
Garnacho, it’s time to shine
He probably won’t get a number 7 or a number upgrade at all. (Perhaps a switch to No.19 is on the cards if Raphael Varane can replace Harry Maguire’s No.5), but it remains another exciting campaign for Alejandro Ka. The Argentine star quickly became a fan favorite because he was so exciting to watch.
Rasmus Hojland is expected to be sidelined in the opening week of the season, with Marcus Rashford the favorite to lead the attack. by leaving the left wing free If Carnacho can get off to a strong start And his brilliant performance against Lens showed that he could do it. He can’t bring himself to be relegated.
Ten Hag might want Rashford to be in his favorite position on the left and play Jadon. Sancho in top position instead But carnachos are a more exciting option.
An opportunity for Hannibal?
One midfielder who has impressed in pre-season has been Hannibal Mejbri, with the ferocious Tunisian making the most of his chances with both hands every time Ten Hag scores. So bad that United decided to sell him permanently this summer. And he was still with the first team when the season started.
He could also go out on loan again before the deadline day. But when Fred is gone Opening day teams for players equivalent to Hannibal’s qualifications. with Scott’s future McTominay and Donnie van de Beek still in the air. Hannibal could find himself moving up quickly and might even be involved on Monday. If he had a minute left He must continue to make the most of his opportunities. And it proved that Ten Hug was right to rule out the move permanently.
