Chelsea transfer saga ends when Lavia ‘deal’ gets confusing

It seems Chelsea are competing for almost every player on the planet. as they look for a new name for the team for the 2023/24 season.

With Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia being the top two targets at this stage, Michael Olise remains on the cards while Brighton are yet to be confirmed. Mohammed Kudus and new goalkeeper are also in line. All of this foreshadows the final three weeks of an extremely interesting summer.

One player they’ve been looking for but haven’t signed is Ousmane Dembele, a tricky winger in the mix coming in 2022 under Thomas Tuchel. As he looks to reunite with a player who has shone at Borussia Dortmund since Dembele’s contract at Barcelona expired in June last year. Chelsea then proceeded to grab him.

In what has always proven to be a common occurrence, Xavi’s division hampered nearly every business endeavor. and ended up keeping the player on a new deal 12 months later and has been linked with a move to Stamford. Bridge later Dembele joins Paris Saint-Germain

He put pen to paper a contract keeping him in the French capital until 2028 on Saturday. He will now team up with international team-mates and good friends Kylian Mbappe as well as Presnel Kimpembe among others, ending his Chelsea transfer saga and starting a new dawn for the 26-year-old.

Football.London says: There were several times last year that Dembele went to Chelsea. Not only does it make sense But it also seems reasonable. Barcelona are in a financial slump in 2022 and Todd Boehly is just getting started.

In hindsight, perhaps it was a good job that they were clearly guiding. Although Dembele’s talent is almost undoubted. But his injury statistics are different. Last season alone he missed more than 17 games, although he scored five times and provided seven assists in the league. But fitness was his enemy.
